LaChrista Cattery has been showing and breeding Siamese and Oriental ShortHair cats since 1992.
This
site has been created in our desire to share our wonderful 'cat-kid' family members with you. We hope you find your visit
both enjoyable and informative. Welcome to our world!
What prompted our decision to begin working with these wonderful breeds? Many things, not the Least Being
our Sheer Love and Respect of the Siamese and Oriental ShortHair Breeds. Thier Affection, Playful Antics and Supreme Joy for
Life is a very special part of thier attraction.
Our Cats are members of our family, they are handled and socialized from birth to become loving, social companions
to both us and their new 'parent' 'This does NOT mean your new kitten or retiree won't be nervous or shy in most cases when
you first take them home. Remember, to them, they are lost, missing mom, siblings and us, their former caregivers. If you
are unwilling or unable to give your new kitten the time and gentle attention it needs to settle in, one of our kittens is
not likely for you.
I wanted to give you a sneak peek at some of our new cats we are going to be working with, some are of new lines and
yes, we did retain our outstanding Seal Point Line from
SGC/RW LaChrista Artic Ladie. - March 16th,1994-January 18,2008.
I miss you my darling companion, you are forever a part of my heart.
Ladie will be recieving her own special page soon. We hope you will watch for and visit it to learn more about
just how remarkable these cats can be.
As of January 2013, we will be selling PET kittens primarily with a spay/ neuter contract. We no longer have a Veterinarian
close by who will do pediatric alters on kittens under 5 months old.
RETIRED CATS WILL BE SOLD MAINLY ON A
SPAY/ NEUTER AGREEMENT TO REDUCE STRESS ON THIER TRANSFER TO NEW HOME IN MOST CIRCUMSTANCES.
We Still offer our written ONE Year Health Guarantee on ALL Kittens or a ONE YEAR Health Guarantee on Retired
ADULT Cats. All are thouroughly checked by our Veterinarian prior to being offered for sale. Vaccinations and Deworming,
flea/ tick/ mites control via a product called Resolve are updated.
Kittens may go to thier new homes at approximately 14 weeks of age, after first set of 3-way vaccinations
are received, and depending on each individual kitten's growth and emotional development. Kittens must be both emotionally
and physically ready to leave thier Mom and siblings. NO KITTENS WILL BE SHIPPED BY AIR PRIOR TO 16
Weeks Old, NO EXCEPTIONS.
We do not NOT sell kittens with open Breeding rights except to Already Established,
Registered Catteries actively involved with both Breeding and Showing of Registered, PureBred
cats. If you are interested in Showing, we do sell Altered Show Quality Kittens, Cats to people wanting to participate
in this wonderful Hobby.
This site will undergo many changes in the next few weeks and months as we add and rearrange things, so please be
